Meet the BMW i3

 

This is our Evodays BMW i3. We named him Sparky.

In partnership with BMW i BeLux, we’re going to be documenting our adventures and experiences over the next few months in this handsome E-Beast, including driving it on our Evodays European tour.

The tour will see us drive the i3 through 8+ (and counting!) different countries in Europe, visiting places of interest, electric vehicle events, student motorsport teams and companies relevant to electric driving.

This way, we hope to generate lots of exciting content for anyone interested in Electric Automotive/Motorsport/Tech, whilst showing that you CAN take your electric car anywhere you want.

We will be posting our route here as well as all the fun we have along the way, so you can track our progress and engage with our tour in real time. We will also share our tips for getting the most out of your electric vehicle and our experiences with charging across Europe.

We will be featuring the i3  from a technical perspective, as well as talking about the pleasures and practicalities of being an i3 driver/owner. For those not yet familiar with the i3, it is an absolutely fantastic car to drive and we are really looking forward to taking it on our European Tour.
